One reason they didn't tour a lot in the early days was because of Fagen's stage shyness. He seems to have gotten over that.

I'd hate to have to pick a favourite though but I am so glad they went back and remastered their catalogue!

Wow, who doesn't love Steely Dan?! My fave is still Deacon Blues:

I still keep Aja in regular play!

haha, yeah I'm Canadian so I guess I have to love Rush I'm not their biggest fan, but they had some good tunes back in the day, Workin' Man, Tom Sawyer and all. I got a couple of their albums. Plus Alex Lifeson gets extra cred for being on Trailer Park Boys a couple times too (I don't know if you get TPB in Alaska?).

The one that springs to mind is Kid Charlamagne, but that's probably because I listened to it yesterday, not because I truely like it more than others.

They were absolutely excellent when I saw them in the Palms in Vegas a couple of years back, definitely go and see them if you get the chance.

Like almost picking a favorite child.

If I could only listen to two Steely Dan songs it would be Turn That Heartbeat Over Again or Dr. Wu.

Or the first side of Aja...
