    Default Christmas Recital

Mark's thread about the healing power of children is so true. I just got home from my daughter's (7) Christmas piano recital. She has been taking lessons for a month, and her teacher was so pleased with her quick progress that she pushed her hard to play in the recital.

Now, obviously, you guys know that the play wasn't perfect, but I just couldn't be more proud. She was first to go, in front of a lot of adults, but she did great. In fact, I was planning on leaving early because I have some time sensitive stuff that I need to do, but it went so well, I stayed for quite a while and took the time to tell you all about it before getting back to work.

    Cheers all!

Congrats on spending some time listening to your daughters recital... that stuff is the greatest and time passes way to quickly.

That is very nice my friend!
I am only 19 and I dont have children to know how that feels for you.
but I am a musician and I loved my parents support as a child.
I hope your daughter is on her way to becoming a virtuoso.
