Ok so I gave up on the notion that I don't collect razors... After finding out i have 38 shavers and about 20 more awaiting attention... and an over whelming urge to gather older blades together... Sound familiar yet??

I know this is "Shave only" interests here and don't want to infringe on that, I like it here the way it is So I would love it if anyone who is a collector out there could point me to sites and such that has collector based info in them.

I'm not the typical collector though, my collections are all about "Using" items. So these razors while being in the well used categories will be serviceable and used to shave. So I don't see me having trouble here on that front All my collections over the years have been of the circulated varieties, coins, stamps, firearms, and so one. I find my fun in wondering what that item did in it's time, I love reading about the items history, what was going on during that time and so on.

As my interests always seem to run to simpler times I have decided to keep my razor interests earlier as well, basically pre 1900 razors of the heavy styles. Most likely a name set to start things going, than once I gain enough knowledge of the time frame I'll start specializing in an area or name brand... Never know till I get there Lucky for me I like em with some wear and age or I'd go broke trying to get the sweet stuff
