All this from a shaving Forum ???!!

So in almost a years time since joining SRP,the following has happened.First and foremost I improved and as far as I am concerned mastered how to shave with a straight razor.Not only that but I learned how to hone a straight razor.And thanks to a recent video posted here from France I can now get a decent shave in about 10 min if I really want to,so Thank you for that considering I started out at 45 min when I first joined. I have made many new friends and in some ways better ones than people I see daily.And I've never met anybody here face to face!? I've also made some wonderful international friends Thank you Austrailia and Russia. I have broadened my horizons on at least one international culture (Russia) which I have been slowly getting more and more interested in since last year.Up to the point of expanding my literary knowledge (Thank you Tolstoy and Chekov and Mother Russia)my culinary knowledge and the list is growing in that respect.I have Taken up Pipe smoking again and now own four wonderful Briars with a fifth possibly soon to be on the way thanks to wonderful people such as Nosewarmer and MickR,thanks guys.And my tobacco knowledge has excelled as well. I have met some wonderful foodies and tea drinkers of all things here as well as increased my appetite if you will to increase my knowledge in such areas,thank you Vic,WVLooney,Nosewarmer,MickR,DwarvenChef,.I have met some wonderful insightful people also,Thank you Obie for yourwonderful heart.I have met some wonderful shaving mentors whether they know it or not,thank you Lynn,Don and Glen,Stubear(Stubear was the very first person I met here and I don't hardly hear from him enough(I know yer busy Stu)..without you guys,my face would be shredded wheat.I have also learned a truer meaning of the words gentleman and conduct and camaraderie .This place has become a very wonderful sanctuary from the outside world when I needed it.I suppose if I need to throw it in,my skin even feels better thanks to all the awesome shaving products I've been exposed to from here.All this from a website about straight razors??!! This coincides with a thread about shaving discrimination and prejudice recently put up here.Yes ......all this from a website about shaving,Go figure. Thanks guys and too anybody I may have forgotten but not intentionally , it's been a fun trip so far and I'm looking forward to the future indeed...........Nightblade

I can't translate all things I'd like to write. I also got a lot of new friends all over the world. It is a friendly athmosphere in this forum.
