bond, james bond
ok I admit the title might have been a bit misleading since I'm only talking about bow ties, but whenever james bond is mentioned I picture him dressed in black tie.
after years of seeeing bond wearing a tux with a real bow tie and not a clip on one I decided to learn to tie one. so I bought a black tie and did an internet video search on how to tie one and decided I like them even more than I thought I did. I'm actually wearing that tie as I write this.
I was just wondering if anyone else here wears these since I thought a group of men that shave with a straight razor won't be held back by the fact that nobody wears a bow tie anymore.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I've been wearing them since I posted. Not only received a promotion but I've also got several other members of my Firm wearing them as well.
I have started a full swing resurgence in my area.
The only downside is that women flirt with me more when I wear a bowtie. I guess someone has to handle the chore.
The pleasure of not having a noose like tie dangling from my neck all day is fantastic.

Thanked: 369I think bow ties are very classy. I started wearing one, on occasion, many years ago. I still have a few hanging on my tie rack. But my wife thinks they look silly (with the exception of black tie) so I don't wear them any more. Ah well.
