I began wearing a cheap fedora early 2010. Basically to keep the rain and snow off my head (NYC). Now I love them and I own 4. They are stylish, practical and really cool.

If I ever ordered and paid for a classy looking fedora and got the ubiquitous $7 Justin Timberlake/Brittany Spears stingy brim I would be hard pressed not to hunt down the offending party and take my change out of his hind quarters, but that's just me.
