Thanked: 1184So sorry to hear all this. I love animals and have had more than my fair share of them. It feels like it takes a piece of your soul when they go but all along they have only made it better. Their friendship and unconditional love is what you have to remember. This helps me the most and is all I can offer to ease your pain. On the grand scale of things their life spans are so short. You just have to remember the good and enjoy the moment. This is true with all life because you never know when it will end.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 1936GSD's are my version of a "perfect dog". I know everyone has a particular breed that they like...this one is mine. I say that and in the same breath my "dog of a lifetime" was actually a Chow-Chow & I got to spend 13 grand years with her. Kyra was very special, but we only had half that amount of time together & she was on her way...

well said my friend i cant love my shepards to death my dog of a lifetime is lady the shepard lab mix, she was beat and left to die when we got her so she won my heart and i know when the time comes its gonna be like losing my best friend.
