Thanked: 235I received some great news a few days ago and I want to share with you all
So about two weeks ago my wife woke me up at five in the morning (very early considering I am on holiday) and asked me if I could see a faint second line on the test kit. The test kit in question was a pregnancy test. After I had forced my eyes to open I could in fact see the second line. I immediately went back to sleep with a smile on my face. So that explains all the weird symptoms she had been complaining about (like heightened sense of taste, she says "this tastes funny" at the same time as she forces the spoon into my mouth) .
This will be our first. While I am not known for expressive displays of emotions I am as happy as a pig in poo (or should that be happy as a straight razor shaver who has just stepped into an antique store that hasn't been raided by that dastardly razor collector Sumguy).
This years New Years Eve is promising to be an extra special day for my wife and I.

A very big congratulations Nathan! You're life is about to change for the better.
One word of advice: hone, restore and use as many razors as you can in the next 9 months, because you're gonna be a little preoccupied as of next year!

Congratulations to you and to your Mrs. I hope it is another straight razor shaver.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
