A graduation Gift from SWMBO. PIC HEAVY
So, I graduate with an MBA on May 7th and as a grad gift, the wife decided that I would enjoy this:
Let's have a look inside:
HOT D4MN! AN FNP 45 Tactical!
This baby comes with three magazines, four backstrap options, and holds 15 rounds of big, bad, 45 acp!
Jumping to a new post now so I can load more images!

Alright, so, this puppy also has a milled slide that will take several different reflex sights. Not only did she buy this spectacular firearm for me, but she kitted it out with a Trijicon RMR. The model is the RM04. It is illuminated via a tridium lamp and supplemented with fiber optic (note the white band around the sides and top). The optic co-witnesses with the iron sights (raised, tirjicon night sights, amber in the rear, green in the front):
Here is the other side:
And a field stripped shot:
As you can see from the last pic, the barrel is threaded. That, the high sights, and that spare long pouch in the case, will go nicely with another toy that is currently sitting in my local class 3 dealers vault awaiting some paperwork from the BATF!
More on that in a few months though... She shoots like a dream. Tons of fun!
So, yeah, safe to say: SWMBO's a keeper!Last edited by sicboater; 05-01-2011 at 04:18 PM.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

How about a picture of it all in one piece with the slide closed?

You don't have a keeper, you have a hall of famer. Congrats on the degree and the nicest firearm I have seen in a long while. That is one nice weapon. I hope you enjoy shooting it. Only thing left to say is WOW!!!!

Thanked: 1936Man, I needed a towel to soak up the drool! Very new toy indeed & it's in my favorite caliber for a pistol. If I read between the lines correctly, you will be able to shoot it without ear protection soon...

Congrats! Celebrate!! An MBA? A .45? All at once? You may need to learn to spread out your fun a little better. Just kidding. Now how do you carry that thing concealed? Now I really want to come down for a visit!!
I've carried a 1911 quite a bit but I'm thinking of moving up to a really big gun. An N frame revolver is calling my name. But, I bet that gun is full of modern cool techno quality!
