That's why I said 'Celtic son'. The one thing the Scots and Welsh have in common is Celtic heritage. The Irish and the Scots have similarities in language (Goidelic/ Q celtic).The Welsh use a celtic language variety called (Brythonic/ P Celtic) and is different to that used in Scotland. :) Ain't I just a fount of information today...:D

The Welsh also have a "thing" for consonants. I suspect it's just so they can laugh at the foreignors trying to pronounce the names on their signs.
edit: of Irish upbringing here. One side of the family is Irish Catholic, the other Irish Protestant. Family feuds are a pest because I end up having to knee-cap myself.
