Here lately I've been fooling with installing Linux on a couple of different computers. My systems admin buddy moved to Alaska so I'm half way on my own and I've found the Linux Mint and Ubuntu forums invaluable for fixing glitches.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Do not one of my new friends fish?
I've owned this one for... geeze... 20 years now...
Fish Mojo - Surf Fishing The Outer Banks
You'll see the new sub forum... The Cutting Edge. The Cutting Edge
Feel free to register and post. The 5 or so advertisers I have would really like some traffic. LOL!
I lived on Hatteras Island, NC for more than 10 years. I did everything I could to stay there, but when the economy tanked so did the trades... I had to leave my surf fishing heaven and get a real job.
In the last 5 years so many of us have passed it really scares me. Just read and you'll find us east coast fishermen - commercial and recreational... really under the gun.
I'll go back some day.
When I do I'll be shaving with granddad's straight... and my filet blade will be very sharp.

This and Badger and Blade a lot. Otherwise, I'm a member of two fly fishing forums: southeastflyfishingforum, and blueridgeflyfishingforum.
There are many roads to sharp.

You'll cetainly be able to find some generic information there, but might not translate very well to Japan. I don't think I've ever seen anything about surf fishing in Japan - although I would find it hard to believe it doesn't go on... somewhere. People are always wetting lines somewhere. Japan must be no different.
By all means join up. Will be very interesting to find out how you do.
