    Default Barbers

Along with striaght razor shaving I have developed an interest in old Barber Shops. I used to love going to get my Hair cut. So with this new interest i have been looking at everything Barber. My daughter who is a photography major just sent me this photo from Eastern State Penn in Phily

I REALLY love that photo. The chair itself brings some happiness to the setting(I associate the chair with orld world barbering and the happiness that goes with that) but the surrounding are really dark and sad. Very cool range of emotion in this photo.

Nice pic. I actually looked into buying an old barber's chair years ago. I think it would be pretty cool in a man cave or something like that.

Nice shot indeed. I had very briefly considered a barber's chair, but I think a recliner would probably function about the same. Actually, I can probably get my hands on a barber chair from my dad, now that I think of it, but his are more modern and don't recline. (Those old ones remind me of dentists' chairs.)
