    Default Happy Father's Day

I wanted to take some time to wish a happy Father's day to all of my friends at SRP.

I have two daughter's. Matisse - age 12 and Arabella - age 8. The way I feel about the blessing it is you raise them is a very stark contrast to the fact that I never wanted children. I cannot imagine my life without the privilege of being a father to these two kids. I love them very much.

In addition, I have to thank my own father for breaking a cycle of poverty level existence, welfare cheats and lawsuit dependents that plagued his family. My two brother's and myself are the first to ever go to college and each of us has multiple degrees in engineering and business. It was a huge sacrifice my father made to get the cycle broken for his own family. I love him very much.

I almost forgot. Devil/Alembic: By each of your statements it is obvious each of your fathers did a wonderful job.

Happy Fathers Day to all. This is my second Fathers day without my father (he died on the 4th of July, 2009). He was a physician, practicing for 56 years and being a pillar of the community and a wonderful role model for his children. I miss him greatly. I have two children of my own and hope to be 1/2 the man my fahter was. He was one in a billion.

whavens - I am sorry for the loss of your father, he sounds like he was a great man.

Happy father's day all! I hope I'm half the father to my children one day that my dad was to me
