Default Need help identifying this game set

Okay I don't know if this is the right place to put this but I don't know where else to put it. I bought this game set at a local antique store a week ago, I don't know what game it is used for and neither does anyone else who I'v shown. Hopefully some of you will be able to help me identify this and maybe give me some history on it if you know anything about it. Thanks alot!!

I don't know what it is, but if it doesn't turn out to be valuable, those chips could make some cool looking wedges.

The "chips" suggest it's a home version of some kind of casino game, but I'm not familiar enough to suggest which one.

I'm unaware of a have that involves dice and cards, so maybe it is a set for multiple games? Or maybe there is a game that uses both that I don't know about.

Definitly appears to be a portable casino. I've seen them as simple as your's to ones that had miniature roulette wheels and spinner games.

I googled 'cards and dice games' and came up with a lot of games. Nothing particularly like the set in question tho. I'm very curious about it now and hope someone can come up with more info.

I picked it up for 25 dollars, when I saw it it immediately caught my attention, although I'm not sure what game it is used to play it is very cool and seems to have many people scratching their heads trying to figure out what it is.

Are those Poker dice? It could be a deluxe poker kit.

As Theseus said it looks like a portable casino. A lot of professional gamblers had them in the later 1800's so that when they went to these boom towns, mines, and build sites they could play and usually win off the workers.
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

But do you know what game it would be used to play? I don't know if maybe they just played poker with these and it made it easier to keep track of the amounts or what. I hope I figure it out soon!
