    Default Cigar help.

Hello gents. With college starting soon a few friends and I are getting together and having one last hoorah. We're planning on some shooting, fireworks, a bit of swimming, and some Samuel Adams marinated steaks. But we've hit a snag, we decided to pick up cigars for us as a special thing. Unfortunately except for what I've read off the cigar thread here we have no clue about what sticks to get. What would y'all suggest? Something not too harsh but still flavorful I think would be great but I'll go with whatever you suggest. My only request is that it be easy to find as I live in a small town, and the it be an easy to smoke (light, cut, keep lit, and keep from getting too hot). Thanks gents.
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

It's all a matter of taste and what you're dollar limit is...the question itself and the fact that your a student gives me an idea that your open on the first and the thickness of your wallet doesn't have you sitting too high off the chair so, I'll offer a suggestion.
Perdomo Frescos probably Conneticut over the maduro. They can be had for under $2 a stick if ordered in a bundle, (25 sticks for around 48.00), and I've found the best prices at Best Cigar Prices.com for the Perdomo Frescos, though CigarPlace.com has some amazing price lines on most quality cigars and I mean some of their prices are amazing, like $25/30 a box cheaper than alot of big/better known internet suppliers. Have Fun!

I used to get the small Don Diego cigars, called Babies. Very mild, small cigars that don't take a lot of time to smoke but a lot better than the cheap gas station cigars. Most cigar shops sell them by 5 packs, so you wouldn't have a buy a whole box.

I get mine from cigars international. Cigars International - discount cigars, humidors, cigar accessories They sell five packs of just about everything. Look around - if you haven't got a pallet yet you can't mess up so get whatever! Generally the lighter the colour of the cigar - the less "strong" they are!

Hope that helps. Have a great semester!

I'm just now turning into a cigar smoker myself, these guys have a great selection and sell some really good cigars for prices even a struggling college student (or a broke old GI ) can afford. Cigars - Shop Quality Cigars - Thompson Cigar Currently I'm burning La Velezas it's a decent mild-medium handmade Dominican cigar. Two bundles of 20 can be had for about $33.
