There's some sort of a Japanese Lion thing wearing traditional Japanese dress with a huge headpiece.

It's a latte, I've got an extra large filter (larger than a double)... I've got a weak spot for those espresso milk drinks, even though I love a clean shot too.
Back to the blob: maybe a map over Turkey, former Jugoslavia and Greece!?

Looks like a creature from an outer limits episode years ago. As I call the episode was called Wolf 359 or similar.
