Thanked: 14Apple Pie
2 gallons of apple cider
1 fifth Cap'n Morgan spiced rum
1 pint Hot Damn! Cinnamon schnapps
1 pint Apple Barrel apple schnapps
A pinch of nutmeg
Combine all liquid ingredients in a 3 gallon crock or stoneware jug, mix well, then add a pinch of nutmeg and cork loosely. May be consumed immediately or aged in a cool, dark place. (A root cellar is perfect!)
I usually make a batch as late in the fall as I can still get local cider and let it age until the following fall. Smoooooooooooth!

Thanked: 14I made it once using Everclear. The recipe was 1 gallon apple cider and a fifth of Everclear.
I am not allowed to make that one anymore...or at least I'm not allowed to serve it to my father. He had some on Christmas, and it made his gout flare up so badly he couldn't walk for 3 days.

I thought we were talking baking and had hoped for recipes.
I mean, I'm a great fan of booze too, but the title is misleading.

Get a jar of maraschino cherries, empty out the fluid, and replace it with Bacardi 151 (or Everclear). Let them sit for about a month before eating them. Cherry bombs.
