    Default Ancient Films

    Gents,

I'm sure a lot of us are history buffs, and a few film buffs. Here's an interesting video I came across recently, and it's of the highest quality. The description on the website says 1908, but the video says 1913. It's a tour of Dunkirk, France, famous for its role in WWII. Enjoy.

Thank you Chester, that was a pleasure. I saved the sight to favorites and will see all of them this week.

    The movie:
Everyone was busy and had a place to go, it seems. I wish that I could tell the boys, that someone from 100 years in the future was watching them and that for a few moments I got to be in their life.

    Time for bed.....

When I saw the title ancient films I really got excited. I was expecting video from the Civil War or maybe man on the scene video from the sacking of Troy. However, it is a great vintage piece you have there.
