    Default Hockey Talk

Ladies & Gentlemen, boys & girls,

Tonight is the beginning of the 2011-2012 NHL hockey season.

Here is the place where all hockey fans can get together & talk about any hockey related subject, like how great their team is, and how bad the others are .

A special mention to the winners of Lord Stanley's cup as well as ther fans, the Boston Bruins. Let's see how well they'll do this year, everyone will want to beat them so the pressure is on them.

Remember to keep things civilized (that's not much of a problem at SRP), have fun and humorous side bets are ALWAYS welcomed.

    THE PUCK DROPS HERE !!

In honesty, I've never really had a favorite team in the NHL.
That changed when Norway's biggest little hockey star joined the NY Rangers
His name is Mats Zuccarello Aasen, goes by Zuke over there.
I'll be watching and rooting for him and the Rangers this season.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Ducks might be hard piece this season. I'm counting on dynamic duo Selänne & Koivu.

Koivu and Selanne are getting a bit old, though. Hopefully they can keep producing.

Tonight my Leafs play the dirty Habs. I don't hold out much hope for the Leafs this year, but any progress will be positive. Beating the Habs and Senators as many times as possible will make me happy

It was actually a decent game, too, so I was happy.
