Thanked: 7Hookah?
Ive been a cigar lover for a few years now as well as a pipe smoker but I recently decided to try hookah and I love it.
So, are there any other hookah lovers on there?
Whats your set up?
Favorite shisha?
Currently due to budget constraints im running a Mya Petit with Vortex bowl and a second hose (When applicable)
Cant quite say what my favorite shisha is just yet.. Im still exploring that.

Thanked: 94I have a hookah, I enjoy it about once a year. Honestly I havent met a shisha I didnt like, but I do not have one as a "go to". I am a cigar and whisky connoisseur and pipe enthusiast. Hookah just kind of reminds me of my college days and as such comes out when I can afford the time to stroll down memory lane.
Enjoy your Hooka!

Thanked: 79Just curious do you like fruit, floral, straight tobacco or other flavors?
I have a few favorites but when I break out the Hookah it really just depends.
Not all versions of the same flavor will be appealing.

Thanked: 7Currently cookin away in the hookah next to me is Romman melon berry mixed with a little (very little) Al Fakher mint.
My smoking habits and what I smoke is very dependent on my mood.
But, to answer your question, mostly I like fruit type shisha.

Thanked: 79Don't think I've tried melon berry,
I'm a fan of two apples, both Al Fakher and off course Nakhla; these are really good with a little Jagermeister in the base if you aren't averse to alcohol (seems to amplify the flavor) lemon and mint go well together as well.
Last I smoked was mixed berry, and Fakher cardamon.
I like mint but not by itself, had some overpower one of my hookahs and it took weeks to get rid of the taste.

Thanked: 7The melon berry is very good. And with mint its excellent. But you must be VERY sparing with the mint haha. I just ordered some al tawareg blue berry. I'm pretty excited to try it. I've heard good things. I also have an unopened 50G pack of double apple that I refuse to open. I learned it was licorice after I bought it... I had a bad jager experience and now can't even smell the stuff with out getting sick!

Thanked: 79Years ago I had a similar experience with Goldschlager and Cuervo, couldn't stand the smell of either for almost two years.
Yeah I got into hookah some years ago, and went through a period of wanting to try everything available, kind of like we do here with other things, razors, brushes, etc... learned to be careful with mint the hard way... but it's a great mixer.

Yeah, you really need a dedicated hose for mint--the oils do not want to come out--even from a washable hose! Some even have dedicated pipes for mint for that reason.
I'm a fan of Nakhla (cheap in addition to being quite good!) & Tangiers, mostly. Tangiers has lots of nicotine, though, so you'll definitely need to pack it properly (tight, all the way up to the foil w/ no air space whatsoever) or it won't smoke properly at all.
