The car is a 1936 Plymouth - now sold. Things got tight, but no fear, I have a 52 M37 and a 51 M38 for my vintage driving urges. I did a frame off total rebuild on the M37, what a great truck!

I was told that the the orfices could plug so I never did. I noticed that the duel fuel have bigger tanks and go through fuel faster. So it made sense to me that they could burn less refined fuel. So basically its just a marketing gimick?

We did an experiment using a regular double mantle lantern, and burned five gallons of regular gas with no problems. At that point we quit - the only orifice liable to clog is the generator tip. A generator costs about 7 bucks and is easily replaced if needed. A 5 dollar savings per gallon... Well, do the math. Using regular unleaded makes a lot of sense.
