I've had soups that she's literally created from scratch that were better than anything I've sampled in five-star restaurants. Most people can follow a recipe; a chef knows how to make do with what's on hand.

By no means am i bragging but ive done that countless times, i remember one time lookign around and deciding to make whatever i could out of what was availabl, ended up thawing a squril out by boiling it in water and making a gravy out the broth, and mashing up some potatoes, adding milk and butter to them to get them fluffy and finaly heatign up some corn, thats what i call good eats from scratch
