    Default Port

    Ah, the gentleman's drink.

I recently finished the last of a bottle of Kopke 30yr Tawny. My, what a wonderful nectar!

I'm currently letting a bottle of Aussie "Old Codger" breath. It likes to rest for two or three weeks before it comes to life.

Any other port lovers here? Feel free to share your favorites and/or experiences.

    Hi AddyLO.
I have to admit being partial to a drop of port.
I'm not a connessior as such, however, I do collect unusual ports as I come across them.
Nothing quite like a good port really.
Hang on and enjoy the ride...

I'm a big Port fan too. I don't have a lot of them in liquor cabinet as its overflowing with my 1st love, Scotch. But when I do have a bottle of Port it tends to get hit up for at least a drink a night with the evening pipe.

I tend to only drink Port around this time of year, looking forward to getting a nice tawny in soon. My lad leaves one at the fireplace for Father Christmas, a man with a taste for a quality tipple!

I favor ones blended in a Solera. The cost/flavor ratio of even 10 year old doesn't justify them to me.
