Thanked: 995They all started out as farm tractors. Ride to live, live to ride.

I've got no advice . All I could afford were the Harley handlebars
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 1936I ride a Honda VTX1800 & I've been riding for about 20 years. I started on a Vulcan 750, went on to sport-bikes & have been on this one for about 5 years now. I got away from the sportbikes due to wanting to tone things down. Problem was I really liked the power. I tried, really tried to like the harley's, but after riding a big sport-bike a cruiser is like comparing a rabbit to a turtle. The only harley's I liked were the $30K+ bikes due to the lack of power. I ended up with the VTX simply because at the time (M109 hadn't come out yet) it had the most power and the looks I wanted.
Where am I going with this? You need to ride different bikes & do your research. A bike will either fit or it won't.
