Great Writing desk!
Mine is made with a glas plate, with a lamp underneath. The light makes it possibly for me to have a paper with printed lines under the one I'm writing on, making it easier to write without lines.
The book is my notebook containing notes from meetings.
I also wanted to show you my newest Mont Blanc pen. It's so gorgeous :-)
You can write almost as beautiful as with the oblique pens.
Finally my little "ink-case". It containing most of my ink for fountain pens.
Have a nice weekend!
I have a lined sheet too. I drew the lines on pretty heavily and they come through OK. I just have it taped to the piece of card. Though I expect a light box would be better.
I cut some A5 paper the other day, I quite like the smaller size. I nearly bought a ream the other day but it was 20 cents cheaper than the same size pack of A4.
Your gear all looks very nice.
Well a light box also has it's disadvantaged. Writing a long time, makes my eyes hurt.
I use it without the lights on must of the time. 😄
Yes, but I've solved that problem using a tiny bit of sticking gum. It comes of again very easy.
I really don't know why the iPad flip my pictures. Sorry.
Gentlemen,
"My two fingers on a typewriter have never connected with my brain," said writer Graham Greene. "My hand on a pen does. A fountain pen, of course."
That is the opening line for my little essay on fountains pens for my publisher Figlo Press. I expect to finish the essay in the next few days and will post the link to it here.
I grew up with fountain pens. My first fountain pen was the Pelikan, and while I no longer have that, I have two others. These days, every time I sit at my writing desk, I crave a new M800 green and black Pelikan with medium point and black ink.
Maybe I will not buy a couple straight razors I have in mind and spend the funds on the M800 Pelikan. Soon!
