I've heard of Black Swan in English Roses, it's supposed to be really nice in a broad nib to allow for the colouration.

I've given up on my Parker Sonnet that seems to be leaking like a sieve and swapped to my Swan that was leaking like a sieve before I swapped to the Parker that was leaking like a sieve. I normally use my dip pen when writing at my desk...

It's a wonderful ink... Specially with a full flex nib. You get the black color in the broad strokes and the rose color where it is thin... I really enjoy using that ink.

This is my only fountain pen my grandfather's Parker Duofold Slimfold from the 60s. I really enjoy writing with it!

I just got in an order from Gouletpens, and I'm waiting on an order from xfountainpens. What I received today from Goulet was a Lamy Logo with a fine nib, three other nibs (broad, 1.1, medium), a G. LALO pad, and a Rhodia webnotebook dot pad. And from xfountainpens I'm waiting on two Nemosine Singularity pens, one with a .6 nib, the other with a .8 nib, and a fine nib.

I've used almost nothing else for years. I have several, but my favorite had to be my Cross. Now, my regular pen is one I made with a turned barrel of amboyna burl. It writes nice, but I think I'll have to experiment with inks as the Waterman I use doesn't really flow inside the converter.

Fountain pens are the only thing I use any more unless I am doing math in which case I use a mechanical pencil....because I erase way to much. I own 5 fountain pens, 2 sheaffer javelins that I have retired, I currently use a Parker IM, a Lamy Al_Star, and a Lamy Logo. they are paired with Noodler's Air Corp Blue black, Noodler's ottoman azure, and Noodler's antietem respectively. I use the 2 Lamys more than anything else. I tried writing with them originally to try and combat cramps in my hand fom pushing down with ball points...ended up, I liked them more than any other writing equipment. and on top of that, it made my handwriting better and much more legible. I'm thinking about trying to regrind the tip of one of my Sheaffers into an italic nib. I'm hoping that I can get the italic nib to help my handwriting even more, I might try to learn an italic/caligraphy style for daily writing

Haven't used a fountain pen since my youth, bic ball points invaded and they became all but extinct. Looking at what they are worth now, i wish i had hung on to them. Just picked up a NOS Minka fountain pen, made in Taiwan since 1938, so i guess they know how to make them. It was a promotional item for a movie, Intersection, with Sharon Stone and Richard Gere. A bad rating on IMDB, but a fantastic pen. I re-hydrated the nearly 20 year old cartridge and away it went.

looking for a new fountain Pen. i prefer the ones with cartridges and a medium to fine nib.
