I have two usable fountain pens: a Cross, and a Diplomat. The Diplomat began acting finicky and so I have been using the Cross most of the time. My only beef with using fountain pens is that most paper that I have to deal with is not fountain pen friendly. Paper just isn't what it used to be...sigh...

Thanked: 8I have accumulated a dozen over the years and really enjoy them but then, after a few weeks i seem to put them aside, only to pick one up in a few months. Love my Pelican with green ink.

Thanked: 0I just started with fountain pens myself. Like syngent, I picked up a pen pal to practice writing with. I love the feel of the pen and how it just glides across the page. Yes, work paper is crappy paper but it's still nicer than writing with a disposable.
Cheers,
M.

I feel kinda old school here because I use an old dip style fountain pen with an old leather bound journal for my thoughts. The cartridge style always flowed to fast for me.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?
