Default Home brewed beer, fine shotguns, fine cigars, and a fine edge on a razor

I'm curious who in this forum is drawn to these same things. It can’t be a coincident can it? I know I love all of the above. So what's the common thread?

Hmmm... home brewed beer, fine shotguns, fine cigars, fine-edged razors... okay, let me take a stab at this [splerktht!]: they all go well together?

I can't wait to start brewing again. I sold most of my stuff fire the wedding, and have my slowly buying pieces back.

Ok, I'll offer up the first proper serious answer. Aside from the cigars, which I'm no fan of...I'll trade you that for pipe smoking instead, I think it is just a quirk of the individuals personality, i.e If you have a liking for doing things in an old fashioned way, things like shaving for instance, then it is more likely you will, depending on your global position, be drawn to the somewhat politically incorrect vices of firearms and handcrafted beer as well.
I think the individual that is drawn to the Open razor is a person that has a stronger sense of independence than most of the rest of the run of the mill people. That is just all my own opinion though, and I think a similar question like this may have been asked in the past.

Now I'm not much of a beer man but I do enjoy the occasional scotch, and I prefer rifles to shotguns but aside from that I think the real question is why shouldn't these things be enjoyed in proximity to each other. (drinks after the firearms are put away mind you)

No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine
