How many people CCW here?

Duracoated it two years ago because of poor care while I was gone at various times for army and love it! Only time my family was allowed to use my firearms while gone and came back to them AFU!!!.
Also voting for the Sig mosquito. Threaded barrel works great with my suppressor's!!!

The Ruger pistols are hard to beat. The grip angle on the 22/45 is pretty much identical to the 1911. Being a giant hunk of steel its weight is similar, too.

I have a MKIII hunter that other than being a brick is superb. I can hit empty shotgun shells at 25 yards all day long with it. If you're the type who likes a scope or red dot both pistols come with a pre drilled and tapped and easily mounted Weaver rail.

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts on the browning 1911-22 are? Recently saw this and I've kinda gotten the itch for it.

I know it wouldn't be ccw, it would be a range gun. But yea or nay?

I have a buckmark camper with threaded barrel.
It's only a couple weeks old but I shoot it more than anything else lately.

That's my .308 suppressor threaded onto the end with an adapter. Über quiet with subsonic ammo.

I've used one and thought it was a neat little pop gun, though I'm usually too cheap to buy one for the amount of use itd get.

If I could find a browning .45 1911 I'd be all over it lol.

But the 22 I can find for relatively cheap so that's why I was considering it.

If you have a newer 1911 you may be able to find a conversion kit to fit it, as that would probably be cheaper than the new pistol. RIA makes a good one I tried a couple days ago, thats not too hard on the wallet.

LMFAO!!! A 308 can on the 22 is awesome!!! 1st shot prob high but follow ups are fine I'd guess. Love my canned weapons!

I've never noticed. I usually pop the first few while watching the observers faces. ;)

How is the take down and clean on that can? Who makes it? 22 leaves a heavy mess after shooting.
