Come out West, we'll show you the way of the gun.
try not to clean it until after 300ish. just spray with rem oil or some such if needed. once you clean it it should cycle everything like butter.

I rinsed it out with some CLP before I shot a round and after I was done which was about 300 rounds. I cant put a gun up dirty, so it got stripped down & cleaned proper before it made it back to the safe. I understand what you are saying, dirt is like a lapping compound & I agree, but I can't run a gun dry intentionally or put it up dirty.

That is why I love Glocks. I clean my G-23 at least once every few years, hundreds of rounds, whether it needs it or not. Works first time, every time.

Yep...glocks are like ak's & i have a lot of respect for them. Its what i bought my wife for ccw. Working on a trade for a s&w airweight for her though cause she feels like her g-26 weighs her purse down too much...then i get the glock!

Ruger LCP is lighter and smaller then the Smith airweight plus easier to carry. I own the Smith model 360 and love it but even 38+P for SWMBO will be too stout. don't even think about 357 for her. I love the weapon but for the other half go with the LCP. Easier to reload plus they make a ten round mag for it also! Did I mention the LCP is a 1/4 the price of the model 360 airweight Smith?
