Thanks Robert, after this mad rush to the stores this weekend , I going to get some. I have a gun box that was cut for a model I don't have anymore, so I need to replace it.

Right, so this would be my first post in this thread
While Norwegian law prohibits me ever carrying anything on my body, concealed or otherwise, it kinda feels right to post this.

Having read this thread since its inception I kinda missed my old shooting club and going down to shoot a few rounds every now and then.
I've spent time in our chatroom picking Gary's brain a bit on guns.
He and I both share a liking of Heckler and Koch.

    So on Wednesday I ordered a H&K 45.
    Initially I was set on a 9mm, but Gary asked me the following question;
Are you just gonna shoot paper?
That got me thinking, and I took his advice and went with the .45.
Now, our laws being what they are, I will have to be a member of my club for at least 6 months before I can take my pistol back home.
My club, however, can store it for me while that period of time elapses, so in just two weeks time, I should have my new pistol delivered at the club and I can start practicing my very lackluster skills of hitting anything once again

Anyways, I just felt like sharing..

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

H&K is a time tested weapon, a good choice.
Question; If you purchase a second handgun after you take the first one home, do you have to keep it at the club too or is it a one time requirement?

No, I can bring the second one home pretty much straight away.
Given I get a permit to own a second hand gun

The six month waiting period is just 'cause I am currently not an active shootist.
Had I kept my membership in the shooting club active, I could have brought it straight home

When I'm about to take a show off shot, I reach for my H&K P7, absolutely the most accurate non target gun I own or have ever shot, I'm pretty sure you'll be very happy with your new gun
