Thanked: 88Had a blast fishing this morning
I upgraded my tiny fishing boat to a small fishing boat this spring, and now I get to have other fishermen(fisherpeople) out on the river, too.
She caught her own shad using a bobber (and smacked me in the head with it "accidentally").

Thanked: 334What?!? No Walt's Crawlers? Just kidding! I hope you and the young lady had a great time. I like how the 2nd pic gives the fish a forced perspective, i.e. making it look larger than it actually is.
That reminds me, bass season just started here last week. Hmmm...

Looks like a great time was had by all.
My wife loves to fish. Baits her own hooks and cleans everything we catch.
I love it!

Thanked: 884I am a lucky man. She can skin a squirrel without getting any hair on the meat too. She doesn't hunt but can gut a deer or turkey no problem too. HELL of a good cook as well.
She's a little ridge runner from MO. I dragged her off to Texas. All I have to do to keep her fairly happy is take her fishin' every now and then. GOt a few spots on some creeks here and there where we can bank fish and she's a happy girl.
Funniest part is she scared to death of sharp knives and my razors. LOL
