Win. Mod. 12, Cyl. bore, unplugged, with five of these in the mag.Makes a real mess of the human body.
Model 12 was/is a great shotgun. I've got this model 1897 takedown riot with 20" cylinder bore. I've always been leery of coming home to someone who could get to it so it stays locked up.

    D. M.

Shirley… you jest. “Not a Ruger fan?”

Have you forgotten the Mini 14, the 10/22 and the 22. Cal. Bull Barreled MKIII? Accurate as a Colt Woodsman and Hi Standard Victor at a fraction of the price & great balance. Just to mention three icons in Ruger's vast lineup.

    Glad you saw the light.

After many years of carring a SW model 60 with a ¾ x 3 ½ in. bull barrel, switched to a tuned stainless SW 3913. That model 60 with custom cocobolo grips and glass smooth action shot like a 4 inch at 25 yards. My son carries it now, loved that gun.

If I can pry it away from him for a few minutes, I will post some photos, it is also a great looking gun.

    Jimmy?

Can ya play that one like a trombone? I ran all it dry one afternoon doing that one day for my dad. I was clearing some vines off his back fence.

He thought he'd try it. I warned him to get a GOOD hold with his right hand or his thumb was gonna bleed.

    It did.

He won't make that mistake again.

Mine looks pretty much the same as yours. I had a "Black Diamond" version, but it was stolen when I was in 'Nam. THe one I have now, I bought in a pawn shop for $100. It had a Cutts on it and was pretty much unused. Somebody had it apart and didn't get it back together right. The pawn shop guy didn't know and thought it was broke. I paid him, and stood in front of him and put it back together, jacked the slide, grinned and walked out. He called me a naughty name on the way out the door.

The bed side table. It's loaded with "full house" .45 Long Colt.

    My old buddy.

It's helped get my tits out of the wringer on more than one occasion.

We've been together for a long time. Wife has instructions to bury it with me.

Probably half of my collection is from the "Divorce Fire Sale" cousin to the "Estate Fire Sale".

As the Mexicans say, "No le hace." (it doesn't matter)

If she does that, it'll be her issue as I won't care one way or the other.
