Mine doesn't have the faux wood dash. Mine is #2707 off the assembly line.

I like it better, I feel more at one with the car. Both mine and my wife's car are stickshift. Also, if your battery goes dead you can push it...

Manual transmission is a requisite when I buy vehicles.

Sticks are for pansies, the really macho guys drive an old Ladas with the battery removed and hand crank it.

Try that at -20C with heavy oil and decent engine compression after it sat over night unplugged.

Well - I think I'll be buying the cheapest new car out there to get me through the next couple of years... it has hand cranked windows (can you believe it? I didn't think they still made those), does that count?

I drive both, but I love driving a stick. You have more control over the car in my opinion.

They come in stick, I test-drove a couple while shopping for a small p/u. Drove an automatic as a kid, but after my first stick car, I never looked back. Live in the burbs, been blessed with easy commutes (no stop and go), my left knee isn't too arthritic to push a pedal.. Not the right time to go back to auto
