    Anybody from the good ol Midwest remember the Ghoul from wayback when ? This is what helped shape my fine young mind,introduced me to old classic horror movies and turned me on to such fine literature as Mad and Cracked magazine. Good times !     Nightblade, while the ghoul is before my time it really does explain a lot about why my father is the way he is. Thank you for posting these great clips!

    Tell yer Dad I said hello(I'm from Traverse City originally)and if he knows about the ghoul,then also tell him I said ghoul power ! If he knows...he'll get it !

    Every large city had his resident on screen ghoul. As I recall when I was going to school in Chicago in the 70s they had this guy Svenghoulie or something like that. The Archetype was a guy in New York City, John Zacherle who had a very popular show in the early 60s and he later became a very popular D.J on a station in NYC.

    Yep...Svenghoulie,shock theater,Ghoulardie they all helped to shape fine young minds into well oiled delinquincey....hats off to'em !
