Thread: Christmas List

Every year about this time my wife ask what I want for Christmas. I usually submit a list and she picks items from the list. This is this years list:

1. Porshe 911 - the base model, no exotic options - I am a simple man.

2. Triumph Thruxton Motorcycle in Caspian Blue.

3. Pair of Frye "Phillip" boots and a case of Saphir shoe polish.

4. 50th Anniversay edition of Orson Wells movie - "Touch of Evil".

5. Heckler and Koch MP5 submachine gun.

6. Bottle of Old Grand Dad, 100 proof bottled in bond whiskey. (Don't drink anymore but would just like the bottle to look at as it brings back memories.

7. Oris chronometer with black dial and leather strap.

8. Kydex paddle holster for my Ruger LC9.

9. Some Sandahl's shampoo and Lucky Tiger or Jerris Hair tonic without oil.

10. Of course, WORLD PEACE.

As for my list, well I'm still working on it. Being new to wet shaving, a lot of that list will be soaps, creams, and other gadget to maintain and restore straight razors.

1. A set of Shapton pro stones.
2. A seven day set of Heljestrand MK32's
3. A seven day set of Heljestrand MK33's
4. A 3" Neil Miller shell cordovan strop
5. A band saw
6. A new belt grinder
7. Clubman aftershave
8. A pony
9. A miniature giraffe
10. Another slightly smaller pony
11. Socks with no holes in them

Alright, here goes.

1. A young ,beautiful, wealthy Latina with nice Ta-Ta's, who likes middle aged, balding, short men.
2. Nice shave creams ( I give my son $50.00 to get me a gift each year), I want shave creams this year.

What brands of soaps & creams do you want?

Well I just started wet shaving at the end of September so I haven't had a chance to experiment too much. I've tried a few Mama Bears scents and Trumpers Lime; I also just ordered SRD's vanilla bourbon soap. I'm hoping to try some new one for Christmas...

1. Polyscience Sous Vide Pro
2. New iPad, mine is operating very strange lately
3. Pappy Van Winkle 15 yr old Bourbon
4. A good 12000 grit finishing stone
5. An NHL season
6. One good fun afternoon at Daley Plaza by the Christmas tree over a few beers

I love # 6.

2. My neck fixed
3. The NHL to begin the season on time!
4. Any Neil Miller strop!
5. Elle MacPherson serving me breakfast in bed
6. Any razor restored by celticcrusader!
7. The honing skills of Lynn or Glen

9. The continued friendship and goodwill I've found here on SRP
10. Could the Leafs please win the Cup again in my lifetime?

Love this list. And yes, I too would like to see the Leafs win one soon. When the old teams of the league win, it give legitimacy to the sport.
