Just to see what other guys build or restore besids razors.

I'll start, I finished this top box last weekend. Took several weeks and was suposed to be for one of my 27" wide rollaway boxes at home. However I wanted to see how it performed so I took it to work for testing befor I build the box to fit the box on which it now sits. It has 100# slides on all 5 drawers and is built from 3/4 CDX.

    This is my first "cabinet"

    Very nice work!
I feel a little inadequate when I look at your shop, the only piece of equipment in those photos, that I can operate, is the cabinet.

Nice! I didn't build anything today but I got a load of wood ready for a log store I'll be building over the weekend. That's quite the shop you have there, I'm jealous now!

I really like your cabinet, looks very well built.
Not sure if this qualifies, I build custom homes and steel buildings of all sizes for a living.

Nice day for working outside today!

    Eric.

No need to feel inadequet my friend. It took me a good number of years to become effective in the shop. I should have turned the box around and got a pic in front of one of the CNCs.

Glad I do not have to put up wood right these days. I do enjoy the work but I have not the time for it currently.

Sure Eric, that counts. I just wanted to start a thread to show off our skills a little in other areas. Its part of what helps to make us well rounded human beings.

Not a built but a Restore, Dovetail saw found locally, clean the blade joint, wax, set and sharpened, and now a pleasure to use.
Turn out its a Patterson a saw maker for California 1860-1863. Honing razors is fun sharpening this saw not so much with 14tpi
and 12 inches long thats thats a total of 168, sharpened one at a time with a file and a big magnifying glass! but the outcome was well worth
    the effort.

That looks big enough to be a gym, nice work.
How long is a steel building like that expected to last?
