Thanked: 1185Wow! What a feed! It's not even 5 PM and I feel like I could sleep for 8-10 hours. Plenty of leftovers too. Great food for the next couple days.

And what about the Turkey? See, no one cares about that poor bird going to his final reward. It ain't a happy thanksgiving to him or her. Do you think that turkey would like to eat some of us instead?
At one time the wild turkey was a fearless hunter with big fangs and talons. Folks cowered in fear when one approached. They would gather in huge flocks and attack hamlets and devour the inhabitants live. I'm told some of those still live in those real backwards parts of the world like Australia and New Zealand and of course Texas.
As you take a bit of that turkey leg just imagine a nice walk with your family out in the country and all of a sudden you're running for you life from a flock of blood thirsty flightless birds. But run as you might there is no escape from the doom that awaits.

Thanked: 15LOL but really wild turkeys can be vicious if provoked, being raised in the back woods has tought me that.
A married man should forget his mistakes. There is no use in two people remembernig the same thing.
