Does anyone have any suggestions of good audiobooks? I mean specifically good audio books, not good books that might be good audio books as well.

i usually prefer to read, but as my workouts are getting longer, I thought I might put that time to good use. No specific genres in mind, so please fire away with anything.

    Oh, certainly:

    Chrome Yellow by Aldous Huxley
    Water for Elephants
The Help (last two only if you haven't seen the movies)
    (all from audible.com)

Water for Elephants is really well read...

Heart of Darkness (free from loudlit.org)
    Huckleberry Finn (free from loudlit.org)
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Depends on what you like. Tina Fey's book bossy pants read by her was quite entertaining.

A Supposedly Fun Thing Ill Never Do Again by David foster Wallace was good as well.

I'm new to audiobooks but I'm thirty something hours into atlas shrugged on audible and the narrator is awful IMO.
