    Default Any unicyclists?

I've just ordered myself a new muni and got thinking... straight shaving's something different from the ordinary, an art practiced by only a few people. And so is riding a unicycle, I only know of 2 other people that ride around where I live (I introduced both and taught 1).

I've been riding for almost 2 years mainly just riding but a little trials every now and again and I'm wanting to get into the world of muni

I'm just curious how many (if any) others of the wetshaving world also uni?

I did for a couple years + in the late 60's. The parking lots at my place of work were so filled by the time our group started that a quarter mile or more walk was common to the door. It fit in the trunk of my 66 Mustang and then under my drafting table. It was handy to get between building through the tunnel system in bad weather and outdoors during the good.
It was a big wheel Schwinn. Better to have gotten the smaller wheel one as it was less work and a bit more maneuverable.
The best part was that it drove the Big Wigs nuts...they could not find a reason to ban it! so they had to accept it!
    It was good exercise also!

The kids in the neighborhood loved it and I was almost a pied piper in the trailer park we lived in.
I fell once and it took about three days before both eyes tracked right. The neighbors said it sounded like a dropped sack of cement..I hit flat.

Take care, have fun, and wear your brain bucket.

Ouch, that sounds like a nasty fall, thankfully I've never had something like that

It is much more portable to just carry a wheel around, but I've never took it to uni... Might have to try it for travelling between campuses

I have to agree about the exercise as well, definitely more intense than just a normal bike

Taught myself years ago. Ride mostly my cannondale and my honda vtx now, though.
I'm sure the muscle memory is still in there.....
