Thread: Trout guys...trade flys ???

It's almost that time of the year...any trout guys want to trade 5 of their top producing trolling streamers for 5 of mine. Just looking for something from a diff region to throw at them this spring...just need to change it up and try something different. Rainbows,browns,lakers,salmon,brookies.I troll with lead core line on a 7 wt fly rod...so not looking for those tiny casting buggers. Thanks

cant help you though , i throw more nymphs & stone patterns then anything ..lol
but i am gonna go throw some eggs & nymphs for some steelhead tomorrow if the rain holds off ..

the last few years around here guys have really been throwing big streamers and spey flies on 2 handed switch rods with good success ...

i stayed up all night , watched the weather , saw the rain coming and left in the dark to get there and on the river at light !!! started raining soon as i got in the car so hard i couldnt see ..lol.. got there and fished any way for about 1hr and the river was going up at a speed that i could see it rising so i left ...lol... o well it was good to get out ...
