    Default Gold pencil help

I am hoping someone can help me identify this pencil, I am not a member of vintage pencil forums, so I don't know who else to ask.

I am trying to figure out if this is solid gold or filled gold, or if there is even a way to know without destroying it.
It is very heavy, and even the inside is gold, Definitely not plate.

Google has turned up nothing so far, any help would be appreciated, if you know of any forums out there related to vintage pencils let me know... Google only turned up fountain pen forums,

Hi, I am a fountain pen collector and have a few pencils myself. From the intial look, I would say this is early 1900s. Go to The Pencil Pages or shoot Doug Martin an email at [email protected] and he might be able to help.

Hope this helps - nice looking pencil.
