Bachelor Party This Weekend and I need....Cigars!?
Some good cigars. I need a box- I am guessing around 10 of us will be there. I would like something classy, respectable, yet has a nice smell and flavor (for beginners)...BUT I don't want to break the bank. This is a co-worker's bachelor party and I would like to make a good impression and bring something that would indicate that I know a little about cigars. So gents, do you have any suggestions?

Thanked: 1185Can't go wrong with Arturo Fuentes. If it was me though, I'd go with a box of Aroma De Cubas or perhaps Brickhouse

+1 to Brickhouse, I would also suggest Dunhill cigars and yes, these are pretty common for most cigar shops.

When they were still what I consider affordable I used to smoke Partagas or Upmann. They are pricey for giving away in volume. I'd suggest asking the proprietor of the cigar shop which brand would be good for this occasion but not exorbitantly expensive. It would be different if all of the recipients were cigar smokers but chances are a good percentage won't even smoke the cigar they get, or they will smoke a quarter of it and throw it away. They ain't for everybody.

Rocky patel vintage 1990, CAO black, anything punch, camacho diploma, montechristo original, don thomas maduro in the yellow tube, rocky patel camaroon. Maduro is going to be a little hearty with earthy flavors, camaroons and lighter wrappers have a lightr sweeter taste, habano is going to be spicy, ligero is strong peppery with earthy tones and spice. Some maduros have a bit of a leathery taste at times. Anything brazilian wrapper is strong and spicy. Anything from honduras and the Jamastran valley has always done me right, my favorit tobacco regions personally. I like a few dominicans, but most I have tried were a bit airy for my tastes. Hope that helps!
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
