Impressive as all get out but the 2 bore was bigger in bore size and bullet weigh but not overall weight of the weapon or the energy produced 2 bore - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . The 4 bore in center fire form might also be close in bore size but not in other specs. Both 2 and 4 bore had one advantage for a hunting rifle and, they could be shoulder fired if you were a masochist. Shooting Times test-fires a two-bore rifle - YouTube

A buddy of mine at work came in my office today and asked the name of that gun I had shown him... The JDJ 950.
Must be somthing in the air today.
Still cool, I would love to shoot it just once.

Bob-I intentionally titled it with a ? mark at the end! hehehe Thanks for the added info and video links!

The amount of energy that it produces would be such a rush to experience! My thoughts are why someone took the time, energy and imagination to design and produce the gun!!

    Anyone Know??

Yea, it is always tricky when somebody claims certain titles, there are just too many qualifiers.

I don't know why anyone would build such a rifle, perhaps just to do it? I don't see it as a highly portable sniping weapon or hunting rifle in the accepted sense of the word. Specialist sniping rifle for anything up to lightly armoured targets?

I'm just getting too old for guns that hurt when you fire them. Specially if you need someone standing behind you so you don't fall on your 'behind' !
