I agree, hate takes to much energy, to much passion, hate can consume you. Like Nietzsche said...."he who fights monsters must fight himself not to become the monster" and as for funny....I don't think anything is more funny then neat hair remover in someone's hair conditioner bottle:-)

I quite enjoy the pranks Jim plays on Dwight in the early episodes of The Office.

There is an amusing series of pranks played back and forth by some guy and his girlfriend on YouTube, but I can't find them or remember them offhand.

In the early 90's my boss was a jerk, despised by all who had to deal with him. My place of work was surrounded by hundreds of acres of rice fields, basically miles of 10 inch deep ponds during the summer. Working graveyard shift, the bugs were awful, but some nights there was a big hatch or something and there would be clouds of bugs. The office consisted of a single wide trailer, and he would lock the door of his office. On really buggy nights, a couple times, I'd open his door with a credit card, take the screens off his windows and turn the lights on. By 0530 or so, his office was full of bugs of all kinds, water beetles, gnats, mosquittos, you name it. I'd replace the screens, turn off the lights and lock the door. He'd come in about an hour before my shift was over, and would bitch about all the bugs that somehow got into his office. "Huh, must have a rip in one of your screens", and I'd finish my shift and enjoy my drive home.

I have had a number of people do me wrong over the years, and I used to spend time hating them. But, I listened to some sound advice and changed my thinking. I mean, why waste time thinking about them, it's not like they are thinking about me? I haven't even bothered to keep track of them to see if karma has come to visit them, don't really care anymore.

Hmm ..well....at the risk of being snickered at.......Vengence is mine sayeth the Lord. I never forget an unkind wrong done to me,but I'm too old and tired for expending precious energy on those requiring the act. Usually they aren't worthy enough . However most times it seems time takes care of most things. And sometimes doing nothing is the best revenge. But like the saying goes...never mistake my kindness for weakness ,.......sometimes the snake will bite. FINI.

"Revenge is a dish best eaten cold." Okay, now that's out of the way.

This is not revenge so much, just a funny story-Years ago, mid 80's or so, I was in my 20's I guess. I had taken a rare trip to the local mall just a couple of days before Christmas. It was wicked, bitter cold-I mean like in the teens and a wind chill. I had to stop in and pick up some quick last minute gifts. Anyway, these two Badass wannabe's pull up in some IROC Z, mullets perfectly combed, and get out in tanktops, then start strutting into the mall.

Well, you may remember that in those days, a lot of people had those ridiculous talking car alarms triggered by motion: usually some loud variation on "Get Back." Well, these idiots made a big deal of activating the car alarm, then getting out in the arctic blast in their muscle-shirts. I mean, this was really comical. And then the devil in me got to thinking.

I let about 10 minutes pass just to make sure they were way up the mall, then "accidentally" bumped into the car, setting off the alarm to beat the band, as I innocently walked into the mall.

Walking into the mall, I chuckled inwardly as they came running back past me in their tanktops to find out who was messing with their ride. Merry Christmas, boys!
