Broken Glasses.....
I broke another set of Vuarnet sunglasses yesterday. i buy the nylon frames which are supposed to be very durable and difficult to break. I leaned over yesterday and they fell from my face, about 2 feet to the ground. The lenses are fine but the temple broke off the frame.
I was really upset when I realized that the last three pairs I have broke in the exact same place. Left side temple is broken on all three pairs of glasses. Since I am a lefty and remove them with my left hand, could it be that I weaken the frames by removing them by the left temple?
I wish there were another manufacturer that made glasses as dark as the Vuarnet. I was able to find replacement frames this time, but have no idea how to remove/install the lenses.

There is a variation on Murphy's law that says nice sunglasses get lost or broken. Cheap pairs last decades. I lost a pair of Smiths in less than a year, broke several pairs of Ray-Bans.

Jeff, the 1970s called. They want their Vuarnet sunglasses back!
Perhaps this is a sign that you should start buying some sunglasses that are a bit more modern style???He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

I just use those cheap paper things they give you when you go into a 3D movie theater. I still have the ones from some 1950s movie. They work great as sunglasses and make a fashion statement too.
