Thanked: 485Black Proper Umbrellas
I carried a black umbrella today. It matched my black jacket with purple lining and dark trousers with black boots well. I know that many of you in the northern climes aren't thinking about umbrellas, but I'd just like to say that carrying a proper full length black umbrella while nicely dressed is certainly one of the finer things in life... Init?
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 2Fox Umbrella's in the UK make a nice umbrella. I have two. One fancy one for when the suit comes out and one I use for work all the time. A nice umbrella is a truly proper thing, it is.

Thanked: 0i have a black fulton commissioner umbrella i take with me to work each day. it has a nice elm handle - it looks great and holds up to considerable wind! it's one of the only brands in the world with a royal endorsement, the queen herself only uses this brand of umbrellas! ha!
while there's certainly an argument for the $2 umbrellas at the convenience store around the corner, i wanted a quality one. the finer things in life indeed carl!
