Well all pretty much finished now. While I was working so hard on getting the platen wrapped up, Muskieman rolls in and decided to make a razor! Go figure!! I did also make a couple smaller drive wheels too! They are pictured on the bottom belt!

Thanked: 2209The design of that platen is really good and the multiple sized drive wheels gives you a much wider range of speed control.
Very nicely done,Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

Thanked: 4Very nice piece of work. I've built some things like that (not quite as complex, though) years ago. I have no time for such things these days
Looking to retire in about 4 yrs - just maybe then. I'll keep hopin' anyway.Randy

You're very welcome. Things like that catch my eye. I love machines!!!! I have just a metal cutting lathe at my moms house I want here bad. My only wheels is my Harley right now. I need to get a friend of mine to go with me over there & get it. I need it. I love that grinder, it is indeed bad ass!!!!
Respectfully,
Steve
