Also, heat build up is a much bigger problem post heat treat. You can go a lot faster on your pre heat treat grinding, and not be too concerned with heat build up. Good luck with your grinding.

Unless you go crazy & burn the steel, you don't have to worry about "temper" as you haven't hardened or tempered the steel. Watch Charlie's videos & learn there are many good razor grinding videos out but I like Charlie's the best.
