Thanked: 2209Custom H-Frame hydraulic press
I had a new H-Frame hydraulic press made and it is finally done. It should comfortably handle 50 ton.
This started as 5/16" thick C-channel and was reinforced with 1/2" thick steel plate.
The top was boxed in with more 1/2" steel and has 1" of additional steel. Sorry, no pics here os the cross member. The cylinder hass a 5" diameter ram. The frame beside the cylinder is to hold the cylinder up when it has to be unbolted from the frame and slid to the side.
Here is a link to all the pics.........

The rest of the pics show the workshop of Stinar Mfg of Cannon Falls , MN where the work was done.
I should note that Dennis Danich designed and helped with the initial setup and tack welding then he went with me to Stinar Mfg and answered questions.
I will post more pics when I get it unloaded from my pickup and setup. It is 73" tall and 32" wide.
Oh, the reason I had this built is that the prior press collapsed under the 50 ton pressure.Last edited by randydance062449; 11-30-2013 at 12:28 AM.

Thanked: 2209BTW, Randy Stinar of Stinar Mfg really knows his stuff and does excellent work.
Dennis Danich is a retired Millwright/machinist and he thought that Randy did an excellent job.

Crushed Jnat or other good stone would be fun, some stones are crap for razors becourse they're to soft but crushed and pressed with a binder they could be good!
